BACKGROUND / WORKING EXPERIENCE

Mr Thoo commenced his professional career with Gerald Eve & Company in 1959 and served with the Ipoh Municipal Valuation Department from 1962 – 1973 as a Valuation Assistant. He joined Jurunilai Bersatu, a Chartered Surveying firm in 1974 as Manager.  Jurunilai Bersatu was acquired in 1977 by Mr Jordan Lee and Tuan Haji Jaafar Ismail and was changed to M/s Jordan Lee & Jaafar. He continued his services with the firm when Colliers, Jordan Lee and Jaafar was formed in 1984 and has been the Branch Manager of the Ipoh Office since 1973.

He was admitted as a Director of Jordan Lee & Jaafar Sdn. Bhd. in 1982 and served as Chairman for year 1999. He has since been an Executive Director of the organisation.
